If Jesus took your place in the workplace, what would it look like after a year?  I believe that Jesus would have risen to the top in our field of endeavour and be exercising great influence.  We are called to no less.  Jesus wants us to excel and exercise the resulting influence for His purposes.  Jesus instructed his followers to be salt and light in the world.   In practical terms, He is calling us to be molders of culture.  It is said that three to seven percent of the population determine the culture of a nation.  This small percentage of people have risen to the top of seven areas of society.  These high points or mountains of influence are Business, Government, Family, Arts/Entertainment, Religion, Education and Media.
 
The more that we rise to the top in these areas, the more effective we will become in reaching the lost and extending God’s Kingdom.  If we do not, Jesus said that we have lost our savour and are good for nothing.

In this year’s retreat we will look at these mountains and gain practical insights in how we can rise to the top and gain influence for the Kingdom of God.
